ANTONIO IMPARATO




Leary was born in Naples, November 17, 1976, cultivated since little his passion for singing, trumpet and jazz. Already engaged in various formations of national resonance. * In 1996, jazz, Mediterranean recorded in the studies of "the park".

She studied singing, Trumpet, Harmony and Piano Arrangement at the broadcasting association Neapolitan jazz (Andj) * In 2001 he played in a Big Band that toured the U.S. in New York City. First gig at Trumpets Jazz Club of New Jersey with American guest trumpeter Lou Soloff. Second concert in the theater of the United Nations (UN) in NYC third and final concert at the Theatre of Mao-Pac NY



* In 2002 the big band sounds of Nick The Nightflyer known speaker of Radio Monte Carlo, on a tour that touches Palermo, Siracusa, Lampedusa, Sarah Jane Morris as a special guest. Presents the trio "Chet Lives Again" that pays tribute to Chet Baker, in a series of concerts at the "Eight Jazz Club, and various jazz clubs in Italian. * In 2003 she returned to classes at Berklee in the trumpet class, directed by Jeff Stout. He was chosen by the historian bass italiano Giovanni Tommaso, per presentare i giovani jazzisti italiani al festival di Umbria Jazz Winter. Il 27/12/03 apre il festival di Orvieto presentato dal giornalista e critico di jazz Giovanni Serrazanetti. E’ direttore artistico di un jazz club a Napoli “Montecristo”, dove organizza concerti, e tiene la jam session col suo quartetto, riscuotendo consensi dagli addetti ai lavori, collaborando con: Daniele Scannapieco, Dario Deidda, Sandro Deidda, Alfonso Deidda, Jerry Popolo, Fabrizio Bosso, Giovanni Amato, Dado Moroni, Roberto Gatto etc… *Nel 2007 partecipa alla trasmissione “Apocalipse Show” condotta da Gianfranco Funari, affiancando la voce rivelazione dell’anno, Mario Biondi, con gli High Five Quintet, ed è impegnato in vari concerti in alcuni trai i the most important Italian jazz club. * In 2008 he directed with his quartet, the jazz club jam session in the historic Roman "Gregory's Jazz Club", constantly engaged in concerts and events. * In 2009, Massimo Genoese Faraò meets pianist with whom he began to work in various workshops and festivals, such as Bobby Durham Jazz Festival and We Love Jazz '09. Embarks on a tour that touches the most important Italian jazz club receiving acclaim from both the public and by professionals. * In 2010 he appeared for the "Epiphany Concert 2010" with its Antonio Imparato Drumless Trio at the Archaeological Museum of Naples, paying homage to Chet Baker, receiving critical acclaim by audiences and critics alike, with praise for some of the most important newspapers national "La Republica", Il Mattino, Il Corriere del Mezzogiorno "," The Roma”, e moltissimi quotidiani On-Line. Effettua un intensa attività concertistica nei migliori jazz club italiani, quali, Il Torrione di Ferrara, Laurin Hotel di Bolzano, Manhattan di Cremona, Vapore di Marghera e tantissimi altri. Incide il disco con il gruppo Antonio Imparato Hammond Trio, dove è attivo anche come compositore, ed è arrangiatore di alcuni dei brani che hanno fatto la storia della musica jazz, soul ed italiana, rivisitando canzoni come; You Are The Sunshine Of My Life, You Don’t Know What Love Is?, Estate, The Way You Look Tonight, Georgia On My Mind, This Masquerade, oppure di brani strumentali; The Sidewinder, Moanin’, Nica’s Dream, e ancora due originals intitolati; That Night e I’m Coming. Viene menzionato dallo storico trombettista triestino Enrico Rava come una dell realtà più prolifiche del jazz nostrano con le seguenti parole: *Enrico Rava in concerto al Moro Qui una grande scuola di jazzisti Repubblica — 08 gennaio 2010 pagina 19 sezione: NAPOLI "Esiste un' importante scuola campana di jazzisti? «Io direi soprattutto una scuola salernitana: oltre ai miei compagni di stasera potrei citare Antonio Imparato, Daniele Scannapieco, Aldo Vigorito. Sono tanti e tutti straordinari: o è una questione di codice genetico o sono stati tutti a Lourdes»."
