STEFANO GIULIANO NEW QUINTET
E 'release the first album by the saxophonist, composer and arranger Salerno Stefano Giuliano.
The CD, released by the fifteenth working Picanto Records, contains eight tracks composed by group leader, for a total of 56 minutes of music. The songs, though each with their own unique music and a specific setting, are all characterized by a particular search rhythmic-harmonic and a strong compositional talent.
The theme never appears as an excuse to improvise, but on the contrary, it represents a starting point with a strong identity from which to begin to create more.

The CD takes its title from the fourth song, "Laura does not want to be touched," in which Stephen is home to the writer Julian Salerno Diego De Silva, who won the 2001 Campiello Prize selection and a finalist of the Premio Strega 2008. The custom of making "reading-concert" together, including the leader of the disc and the famous writer, has landed "naturally" in the recording studio .... Diego, heard the work of Stephen, wrote a new story for fourth track ...."
